About the role

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition – Marketing & Sales (M&S); primary recruiter for all M&S positions located within North America and Luxury segments.
  • Acts as a business partner to site Marketing & Sales hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and generate a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Work with hiring managers at locations throughout the U.S. to understand and define staffing requirements, create sourcing strategies, and provide subject matter expertise to develop candidate specifications.
  • Manages the full lifecycle recruitment process including intake, sourcing, screening, and interviewing applicants.
  • Partners with Compensation to develop competitive and equitable compensation recommendations.
  • Designs and helps deliver and develop Talent Acquisition related processes pertinent to Marketing & Sales recruiting; provides consultative leadership and drives continuous process improvement.
  • Develops strong relationships with regional recruiters to leverage local knowledge and share best practices.
  • Provides input to update enterprise-wide policies related to Sales/Marketing Executive talent acquisition and works with HR Change Management/Communications for rollout.
  • Reviews and analyzes customer satisfaction survey results; identifies trends and provides follow up for issue resolution and communication.
  • Appraises effectiveness of hiring models and assessment tools; develops alternative assessment strategies and harnesses technology and social media for talent acquisition.
  • May be based at the corporate office or in the field and may direct work of non-management staff.

Requirements

  • Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Four (4) to six (6) years of progressive Human Resources/Talent Acquisition experience.
  • Minimum four (4) years of progressive recruiting experience required.
  • Experience at Marriott Vacation Club International preferred.
  • On-property resort or hotel experience/knowledge preferred.
  • Experience of Marketing & Sales Recruitment strategies and Assessment tools.
  • Experience of working with Regional Recruiters.
  • Knowledge of social media technology as it relates to Talent Acquisition (LinkedIn etc.) required.
  • Knows “mechanics” of applicant tracking system(s) (both hourly and management); computer literate (sound understanding of databases and supporting systems)
  • Must be able to meet deadlines.
  • Must have excellent people skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
