About the role
- Support and advance investment manager due diligence within Marquette
- Conduct fund due diligence, analysis, and market research
- Prepare investment recommendations for clients and consultants
- Evaluate private credit funds and monitor existing manager relationships
- Document and distribute detailed due diligence notes
- Prepare investment recommendations through reports and meetings
- Drive forward-thinking private credit research
- Work independently and collaboratively with the research team
- Identify new opportunities and perform comprehensive manager due diligence
- Lead and participate in due diligence meetings and deliver investment recommendations confidently
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5-10 years investment-related experience
- CFA, CAIA, or MBA preferred
- Strong knowledge of private markets and manager due diligence processes
- Proven client service skills and ability to present information effectively and professionally
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to work independently to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt positively to changes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to quickly learn new software applications and tools
- Strong critical thinking skills: self-starter with excellent follow-up abilities
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
