About the role

  • Build, foster, and maintain strong relationships with network partners to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Maximize growth opportunities with each network partner by identifying and executing on new business opportunities.
  • Lead the negotiation and management of contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the company, minimizing risk, and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive strategy to build and manage a diverse portfolio of network partnerships.
  • Drive the company’s financial success through careful management of partnership terms, incentives, and compensation structures.
  • Partner with internal teams, including sales, product, legal, and marketing, to ensure effective execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the success of network partnerships.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities that could impact the network partnership landscape.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in card payments and issuing, financial services, global partnership management, or similar roles.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing strategic partnerships at a senior level.
  • Extensive experience in negotiating payment network commercial agreements, managing contract terms, and optimizing financial outcomes for the company.
  • Ability to develop and execute complex, long-term strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Strong understanding of the financial industry, card payments and issuance ecosystem, including networking operations, products, and incentives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to internal teams and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
