About the role
- Lead benefits operations initiatives and optimize processes to scale benefits programs
- Perform new hire onboarding presentations, enrollments, reporting, vendor partnerships, and employee escalations
- Assist employees with complex benefits issues and liaise with providers to resolve discrepancies
- Monitor and resolve Workday Help tickets and benefits inbox inquiries; escalate when appropriate
- Process and maintain benefits-related transactions in Workday and ensure data integrity
- Audit enrollment records, reconcile enrollments to payroll deductions and spending accounts
- Complete processing, auditing, and reconciliation of benefits-related invoices
- Assist with benefits integration for mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures
- Manage vendor performance against SLAs and troubleshoot vendor file feeds/integrations
- Coordinate planning, communications, and testing for annual Open Enrollment and wellness events
- Ensure benefit plans comply with federal, state, and local regulations and support filings (e.g., 5500s, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA)
Requirements
- Significant experience in US benefits administration in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with high-growth tech companies scaling their business and workforce
- Workday Benefits experience
- Advanced Google Sheets or Excel expertise and ability to manipulate large datasets
- Some experience in international benefits administration
- Flexible, growth mindset; comfort with ambiguity and change
