About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and grow sales and margin results across the Northeastern states from North Carolina to Maine.
  • Develop and execute a Regional Sales Plan aligned with the company’s Strategic Market Management (SMM) strategy.
  • Educate and guide distributor sales teams through joint calls, product training, end-user audits, and hands-on selling support.
  • Conduct plant visits and workplace audits to understand customer applications and safety needs.
  • Recommend targeted solutions and manage trials to drive pull-through sales. Engage stakeholders from shop floor to C-suite.
  • Gather and share Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback to guide new product development and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify key trends and unmet needs.
  • Master our portfolio of hand and arm protection products and technologies and articulate their value in both industrial and critical environments.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and high-volume product projections.
  • Analyze territory performance and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Partner with Product Management, Marketing, and Operations to support new launches, execute plans, and improve customer outcomes.
  • Represent the brand at regional and national trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College classes required
  • Hand and arm protection (PPE) sales in industrial or professional settings
  • Knowledge of how gloves and PPE get specified on the shop floor from the user to the distributor.
  • 5 years of experience working with regional industrial customers and steady employment history
  • Successful experience selling into Industrial Manufacturing sectors
  • Proven ability to plan, build and grow a territory with minimal supervision
  • Skilled in working with both distributors and direct end users
  • High proficiency in Excel and data modeling; able to interpret and act on large datasets
  • Proficient in CRM platforms and sales tracking tools (e.g., SFDC)
  • Willing to travel 50–60% by car and plane across the assigned region
  • Self-directed, results-driven, and highly organized
  • Experiences business traveler, deep knowledge of end users, ability to prospect new accounts and maximize existing accounts
  • High energy, coachable, trainable, team player, winner, team sports background either college or high school
