About the role
- Provide oversight and strategic direction for the assigned regional sales organization
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
- Analyze market trends, identifying new opportunities, and aligning sales efforts with company objectives
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Coach and mentor their team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance
- Provide leadership, vision, and execution, ensuring the overall success of their team
- Monitor sales activities and performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards excellence
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving growth
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools a plus
- Experience in wire and cable is highly desirable
