About the role

  • Lead and manage Directorate Action Group (DAG) operations, ensuring timely tracking, coordination, and closure of leadership taskings.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between directorate leadership, executive staff, and mission organizations to coordinate taskings, briefings, and responses.
  • Manage and oversee the intake, prioritization, tracking, and execution of directorate-level actions and requests for information (RFIs).
  • Provide executive-level support for briefings, decision packages, correspondence, and strategic communications.
  • Coordinate responses to senior leadership inquiries, congressional taskings, and interagency requests.
  • Ensure compliance with NRO task management processes and organizational policies.
  • Monitor task status and provide regular updates, metrics, and reporting to directorate leadership.
  • Facilitate cross-organizational coordination to ensure alignment of directorate priorities with enterprise initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain task management processes, standard operating procedures, and governance frameworks for action tracking.
  • Lead or support executive meetings, senior leadership reviews, and coordination forums.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to directorate action officers and administrative staff.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, accountability, and transparency in task management and executive coordination.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) required for NRO access.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Political Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience supporting executive-level operations, action management, program management, or staff operations within the Intelligence Community (IC) or DoD.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior executive leadership in a headquarters or directorate environment.
  • Extensive experience managing high-level tasking processes, executive correspondence, and organizational coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of IC organizational processes, governance structures, and executive staff operations.
  • Experience coordinating cross-organizational initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and mission areas.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare executive-level briefings and correspondence.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority actions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
