About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, leaves, and general HR inquiries
  • Administer and coordinate day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and employee life cycle changes
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal processes and regulatory standards
  • Partner with managers on headcount tracking, job requisition approvals, and internal mobility
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports, dashboards, and metrics to support data-driven decision-making
  • Administer and track leave of absences, ensuring accurate documentation, timely communication, and compliance with applicable laws and company policies
  • Assist with compliance audits, recordkeeping, and employment law updates across relevant jurisdictions
  • Contribute to company culture initiatives and employee engagement programs
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to streamline HR workflows and enhance employee experience
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources in related field or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or work-related experience
  • Experience using HRIS platforms; Workday experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability for judgment, planning, time management, communication, decision making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and best practices, with a working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO, wage and hour, health and safety)
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel or other tools for reporting and data analysis
  • Ability to manage projects and initiatives from inception to completion
  • Strong service mindset with a consultative approach to supporting employees and leaders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams
