About the role
- Create sales-qualified opportunities by engaging with prospects and showcasing how MailChimp can transform their business
- Source opportunities from Inbound lead sources
- Qualify and handover sales ready opportunities to Account Executives
- Create lasting and beneficial relationships with Mailchimp stakeholders
- Adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
- Engage with prospective customers by phone, email & LinkedIn
- Achieve established sales goals and objectives
- Serve as a product and service advocate for the client, building interest and awareness of the client’s value proposition and assessing mutual fit
- Learn quickly and maintain current, comprehensive knowledge of clients’ products and services
Requirements
- Fluent English Speaker
- Strong desire for a career in sales
- 1+ years of experience in a B2B sales role preferred
- High confidence and ability to quickly build trust within the first call, with strong soft skills to drive impact on the spot
- Exceptional listening skills combined with the ability to synthesize information
- Good time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
- High attention to details and follow-through
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Salesforce experience preferred but not essential
- Constantly strives to improve, proactively seeking coaching and guidance from peers and managers
- Highly collaborative and highly organized individual
- Ability to work to deadlines
