About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare various financial statements and other internal or external financial reports
Distribute the monthly financial reporting packages in accordance with company policy
Ensure accuracy and legal compliance of reports
Organize, update and maintain the general ledger including creation of appropriate journal entries
Research and document accounting activities to ensure compliance with company policy and GAAP
Perform account analysis and/or reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting
Prepare information in support of annual external audit
Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
Reconcile and review bank accounts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in accounting required
At least one year experience in accounting or a related field preferred; recent college graduates will be considered
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
