About the role
- MarketSource delivers integrated sales solutions by hiring, training and managing industry-specific professionals for iconic brands
- Designs and executes sales and training solutions for B2B and retail space
- Senior Accountant will manage month-end close, billing and collections, and financial reporting
- Requires adherence to corporate policies, tight deadlines, and experience in budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, and audits
- Strong budgeting systems experience and technical background to enhance financial systems and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Minimum 5+ years of related accounting experience
- Proficiency in using budgeting tools and financial reporting systems
- Experience with general ledger entries, accounts payable, revenue recognition and client billing
- In-office workdays are required; there will be day(s) designated for working remotely based on schedule assigned
- Strong technical background with experience in financial software and systems (Prefer any major accounting system + Oracle FCCS or EPBCS skill and experience)
- Must have strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to maintain accounting controls by assisting the accounting manager in defining accounting policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team with a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to develop budgets, track expenses, and optimize financial processes
- Must have demonstrated expert-level Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas, and data visualization
