About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing your own caseload of fast, intermediate, and multi-track EL/PL defendant claims
- Advising insurers with clear, commercial and pragmatic legal advice
- Setting strategy, reserves and next steps in collaboration with senior colleagues
- Supporting the development of junior team members and paralegals
- Working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver excellent outcomes
- Developing broader expertise across casualty-related claims and insurance-led work
- Playing an active role in the continued growth and success of the Leeds team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualified solicitor with defendant PI experience (EL/PL essential)
- Confident running your own caseload under appropriate supervision
- Strong grasp of Civil Procedure Rules
- Commercial, organised and solutions-focused approach
- Excellent client communication and stakeholder skills
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in developing others
