About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of accounts in order to minimize the risk of bad debt exposure to the company.
- Responsible for account follow-up for all assigned agents, brokers, and customers.
- Resolve billing problems, answering inquiries, and setting up financial arrangements as needed.
- Use collection techniques to keep accounts receivable current including monitoring for delinquent payments.
- Contact agents and customers to negotiate mutually acceptable resolutions to their delinquencies.
- Focus on loss prevention, delinquency minimization, collections productivity and customer service.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma required; some college preferred.
- General accounts receivable knowledge with a minimum of 1-year accounts receivable experience preferred.
