About the role
- help build the next generation of cloud based public safety software
- take ownership of products and features from start to finish
- build robust server side solutions
- improve architectural strategy to meet higher velocity needs
- review code submitted by other software engineers
- collaborate with design and product teams
Requirements
- at least 10 years of professional experience using Java/Node.js
- comfortable utilizing agile development
- experience developing features built for the cloud and for scale
- deep understanding of databases
- proficiency building and managing RESTful APIs
- strong DevOps experience
- deep experience designing and building out infrastructure for complex cloud-based software applications
- proven experience in building for scale in a B2B environment
- knowledge of or prior experience with microservices architecture
- commitment to providing support for more junior members of the team
