Manager

• Lead and oversee the safety program for the Reno, Nevada office, implementing company strategic safety initiatives and fostering a safety-first culture.
• Partner with the Safety Director, project managers, and superintendents to embed safety into daily operations and assist in development and implementation of safety strategies.
• Potentially supervise safety coordinator(s), providing coaching and mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Workplace Violence, DOT, EPA, and NFPA standards; assist with OSHA inspections, reports, posters, citations, and hearings.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis; track corrective actions to completion and assist with vehicle/equipment incident reporting.
• Deliver on-site safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding for new hires and subcontractors; facilitate field engagement sessions and behavior-based observations.
• Conduct regular safety audits of job sites and facilities; report findings and corrective action plans to Safety Director; track TRIR, DART, MVIR, near-misses, and safety suggestions.
• Maintain Emergency Action Plans (EAP), Pre-Task Plans (PTPs), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Method of Procedures (MOPs), and site-specific safety plans (SSSPs); support high-risk activity planning (hot work, confined space, trenching, electrical LOTO).
