About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides Ultrasound examinations to patients under the general supervision of the Medical Director of Imaging Services.
  • Operates ultrasound equipment to produce images of the body including Abdominal, Breast, OB/Gyn, vascular, small parts and needle guidance.
  • Assist the Radiologist with minimally invasive procedures.
  • Participate in daily processor quality control program to ensure consistency in imaging results.
  • Communicate openly with the Radiologist to determine optimal Ultrasound imaging with respect to patients' unique needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • 1-year full time experience in a clinical Ultrasound setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
  • Integrative Agitation Management training required within 30 days of hire.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in the performance of diagnostic Ultrasound studies for patients of all age groups.
