About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provides Ultrasound examinations to patients under the general supervision of the Medical Director of Imaging Services.
Operates ultrasound equipment to produce images of the body including Abdominal, Breast, OB/Gyn, vascular, small parts and needle guidance.
Assist the Radiologist with minimally invasive procedures.
Participate in daily processor quality control program to ensure consistency in imaging results.
Communicate openly with the Radiologist to determine optimal Ultrasound imaging with respect to patients' unique needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
1-year full time experience in a clinical Ultrasound setting.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
Integrative Agitation Management training required within 30 days of hire.
Must demonstrate proficiency in the performance of diagnostic Ultrasound studies for patients of all age groups.
