About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a trusted advisor and strategic coach to Independent advisors
Design, build, and oversee comprehensive advisor coaching and development programs
Provide individual and group coaching to advisors
Facilitate interactive training using workshops, role plays, peer coaching, simulations, and case-study-based methodologies
Develop scalable frameworks, growth paths, onboarding programs, and professional development initiatives
Cultivate internal advisor talent by identifying development needs and mentoring emerging advisors
Collaborate closely with Mariner Independent leadership to determine advisor development needs
Create effective training guides, playbooks, conversation frameworks, and learning resources
Support advisors in leveraging all available Mariner Independent technology
Assist advisors in clearly articulating their value proposition
Establish and monitor metrics, feedback loops, and performance benchmarks
Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, accountability, and excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, advisor consulting, coaching, or practice management role to independent channels
Preferred Education and Experience: CFP® or equivalent industry designation
