About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, executives, and multi-generational families, delivering integrated wealth, business transition, and legacy planning strategies aligned with complex financial objectives.
- Develop, cultivate, and maintain high-value client relationships through proactive engagement, strategic guidance, and delivery of an exceptional client experience.
- Identify, qualify, and advance sell-side and liquidity event opportunities by leveraging strategic networks, market intelligence, and collaborative business development efforts.
- Build, manage, and convert a robust sales pipeline, contributing to revenue growth and expansion of key client segments through partnership with Wealth Advisors and opportunity teams.
- Generate new business opportunities through targeted outreach, referral development, and relationship expansion within the privately held business owner and pre-liquidity markets.
- Collaborate with Investment Banking professionals to originate, position, and execute transaction opportunities that align with client business and wealth objectives.
- Lead pre-transaction planning initiatives focused on value optimization, tax efficiency, risk mitigation, and post-liquidity wealth management outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver seamless integration of transaction advisory, wealth planning, tax, estate, and investment strategies before, during, and after liquidity events.
- Represent the firm through industry events, professional associations, thought leadership activities, and community engagement to strengthen brand awareness and strategic partnerships.
- Maintain disciplined business development practices, including pipeline management, forecasting, CRM utilization, regulatory compliance, and adherence to firm policies and risk management standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 15+ years of experience in investment banking, wealth strategy, or a related field
- FINRA Series 65 license
- Professional designations such as CFA, CFP®, CPA, or equivalent strongly preferred
