Tax Intern will work 30–40 hours per week from late January to mid-April 2026, handling real client work and learning tax returns (personal, fiduciary, S-Corporation, partnership, private foundation, and gift tax).
Collaborate with Mariner’s Tax professionals to learn about personal, fiduciary, S-Corporation, partnership, private foundation, and gift tax planning and compliance.
Gain hands-on learning to develop foundational knowledge of tax planning and compliance.
Work with Wealth teams to service clients as it relates to integrated tax and wealth planning.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns, income tax projections, estimated tax vouchers, and extension forms.
Collaborate with Tax professionals on special projects and work that directly supports clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; willingness to learn specialized tax planning and preparation software.
Requirements
Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with an expected graduation date within 30 months of the start of the internship (January 2026).
Demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship needs.
Available 30-40 hours per week during Spring 2026 (late-January to mid-April).
