About the role
- Lead the design and development of innovative learning materials, including eLearning modules, ILT, microlearning, simulations, and job aids.
- Partner with SMEs and business leaders to translate complex concepts into learner-friendly content.
- Ensure instructional design aligns with organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Provide oversight and quality assurance for content developed by other L&D team members.
- Deliver virtual training sessions with excellence, adapting delivery style for diverse audiences.
- Act as a role model for classroom management, learner engagement, and facilitation best practices.
- Mentor other facilitators to enhance their delivery effectiveness and learner impact.
- Serve as a consultant with SMEs, guiding the development of accurate and engaging training content.
- Support L&D functions on organization-wide projects, ensuring that learning and adoption needs are embedded into project plans.
- Partner with leaders across departments to align learning solutions with business objectives and change management initiatives.
- Lead internal L&D projects, including the design, implementation, and evaluation of enterprise learning programs.
- Support the development and growth of Learning Specialists, Instructional Designers, and Training Specialists through mentoring and coaching.
- Collect feedback and analyze performance data to measure program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation across the L&D team and the broader organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, HR, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in L&D roles (instructional design, training facilitation, or combined roles)
- Demonstrated experience contributing to learning initiatives and projects
- Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, Agile Learning, etc.)
- Proficiency with LMS platforms and eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360 including Storyline, SnagIt, Photoshop, Microsoft Product Suite, Camtasia, Adobe Product Suite including Captivate, etc.)
