About the role

  • As a Recruiter, play a pivotal role in scaling Mariner by identifying, attracting, and delivering an extraordinary candidate experience
  • Manage critical pieces of top-of-funnel recruitment: sourcing, qualifying, and screening candidates
  • Proactively source and engage top-tier talent and build/maintain talent pipelines
  • Manage pipeline activity and provide recommendations for improving talent strategies based on data
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies and meet/exceed quarterly recruiting metrics
  • Foster an exceptional candidate experience aligning with the Mariner brand
  • Assist senior recruiters with scheduling interviews, candidate communications, and updating hiring managers
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand Mariner’s network
  • Collaborate with internal teams on business development strategies; represent Mariner at events and conferences
  • Partner with leadership to negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage key business relationships
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships and conduct market research to identify new business opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, business development, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and business development strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach
