About the role
- As a Recruiter, play a pivotal role in scaling Mariner by identifying, attracting, and delivering an extraordinary candidate experience
- Manage critical pieces of top-of-funnel recruitment: sourcing, qualifying, and screening candidates
- Proactively source and engage top-tier talent and build/maintain talent pipelines
- Manage pipeline activity and provide recommendations for improving talent strategies based on data
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies and meet/exceed quarterly recruiting metrics
- Foster an exceptional candidate experience aligning with the Mariner brand
- Assist senior recruiters with scheduling interviews, candidate communications, and updating hiring managers
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to expand Mariner’s network
- Collaborate with internal teams on business development strategies; represent Mariner at events and conferences
- Partner with leadership to negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage key business relationships
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships and conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting, business development, or a related field
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and business development strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach
