About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the full software development lifecycle from application design and API implementation through deployment and feature monitoring
Connect production applications with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain and interoperability protocols such as MCP and A2A
Develop secure, versioned application data models supporting multi-tenant isolation, auditability, and data classification
Build services deploying consistently across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises environments using automated CI/CD pipelines
Define and meet performance goals through query optimization, code profiling, caching, and security practices
Own application components, facilitate design and code reviews, mentor team members, and drive decisions in an async-first environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 2 years focused on data-intensive applications, database-adjacent features, or enterprise software
End-to-end ownership of a non-trivial production feature or module from specification through production
Production experience deploying, debugging, and managing services across at least two major public clouds: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with vector databases, embedding pipelines, semantic search, or retrieval-augmented generation systems
Experience building LLM-based applications or workflows with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen
Strong Python proficiency and high proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go, Java, or C++
Strong relational database skills, including complex SQL, structural indexing, query optimization, transactions, and schema design
Experience with temporal data models, event-driven tracking, audit logs, or system-versioned tables
Understanding of authentication, authorization, RBAC, row-level security, and multi-tenant data isolation
Proficiency with structured logging, distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry, and functional alerting
Experience designing and implementing REST and/or gRPC APIs
