About the role

  • Develop and execute marketing programs specifically designed to drive expansion within existing accounts.
  • Create 'expansion toolkits' for Sales teams, including targeted email sequences and customer-only webinars.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Customer Success team to identify healthy accounts ready for expansion.
  • Design, launch, and manage MariaDB’s inaugural Customer Advisory Board program.
  • Facilitate sessions between customer executives and MariaDB leadership to ensure our roadmap is aligned with market demand.
  • Own the strategy and execution of a global customer newsletter and other dedicated communication channels.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing experience in a B2B technology company, preferably within the enterprise database or IT infrastructure space.
  • Proven track record of developing core messaging and content that generates customer engagement and improves sales effectiveness.
  • Ability to design marketing programs that contribute to expansion pipeline and customer retention.
  • Sufficient understanding of database technologies.
  • Travel up to 10%.
