Client Services Specialist – Part-Time
MarginEdgeClient Services Specialist supporting the food and beverage industry by managing client purchase data and ensuring accuracy. Collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality client experiences while working remotely.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Process and manage client purchase data, including coding items, performing unit/quantity conversions, and reconciling vendor information between our systems and the client's accounting system.
- Ensure data quality by identifying and reporting invoice processing errors and conducting thorough quality check reviews.
- Collaborate effectively across the organization and be a trusted partner to internal and offshore teams, maintaining promised timelines.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Required experience in the restaurant or food & beverage industry.
- Required to work 75% of scheduled shift between Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Familiarity with restaurant bookkeeping practices, including standard chart of accounts, invoices, and/or ordering.
- Strong comfort with numbers and basic mathematical concepts.
- Excellent remote communication skills (Slack, Google Meet, etc.) with an ability to keep communication clear, concise, and focused on action.
- High sense of productivity, with the judgment to balance independent problem-solving and timely escalation of urgent issues
- A detail-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and a desire to constantly go above and beyond.
