About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support HR by triaging and providing information and advice on HR-related policies and procedures
- Thoroughly document HR casework
- Provide intake for employee relations matters
- Ensure legally compliant resolutions within institutional guidelines and in a timely manner
- Update and maintain HR-related policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and respond to general inquiries
- Coordinate and respond to unemployment claims by investigating and collecting information
- Determine appropriate steps for unemployment claims
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree is required
- Two (2) years of related experience is required
- Ability to manage interactions to provide service and support the organization
- Ability to effectively exchange information with stakeholders
- Ability to understand and apply information contributing to the organization's strategic plan
- Ability to direct and contribute to initiatives and processes within the organization
- Ability to integrate core values, integrity, and accountability throughout organizational and business practices
- Knowledge of principles, practices, and functions of effective human resource management
