About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for managing the full lifecycle of healthcare contracts and procurement activities to support hospital operations, clinical services, and patient care.
- Negotiate, draft, and administer contracts; evaluate vendor proposals and pricing; ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and supply chain stakeholders to secure high-quality, cost-effective goods and services while mitigating operational, financial, and regulatory risks.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fundamental knowledge of project/program management, healthcare contract negotiation, purchasing, and full-cycle procurement processes within a hospital or clinical environment.
- Ability to analyze and develop optimal negotiation strategies by building rapport, actively listening, and identifying value-based trade-offs with vendors, physicians, and healthcare service providers.
- Detail-oriented with strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, particularly in managing healthcare contracts and compliance requirements.
- Ability to coordinate and support operational and clinical initiatives, ensuring contracts align with service standards, patient care goals, and regulatory requirements in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to collaborate across departments, including clinical, administrative, and internal supply chain teams, to support hospital contracting and procurement initiatives.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively—both verbally and in writing—with internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding contracting, purchasing, compliance, and contract performance.
- Ability to review and analyze healthcare contracts to identify financial, operational, and regulatory risks, including compliance with applicable healthcare laws and standards (e.g., HIPAA, CMS guidelines).
- Bachelor's Degree degree or related/equivalent experience is required.

- A generous leave program offers multiple paid leave options:
- - Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in year one based on date of hire.
- - Extended Illness Bank: 8 hours (1 day) accrued per month which can be used for illness or injury after one day of Paid Time Off is taken.
- - Paid Family Leave: Up to 240 hours (6 weeks) to care for a spouse, child, or parent after 6 months of consecutive employment.
- - Holidays: 12 set paid holidays each year.
