About the role

  • Provide leadership and management to a clinical practice and oversee day-to-day operations to ensure systems, policies and procedures support quality clinical outcomes, patient, staff and physician satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Supervise staff; develop, plan and schedule workflow; implement and monitor approved policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative oversight and support for delivery of quality patient services; serve as a liaison with patients, staff, academic administration and faculty.
  • Plan for space allocation and prudent resource utilization between locations.
  • Responsible for meeting patient and revenue targets; gather and analyze relevant activity data; manage controllable costs in line with practice budgets.
  • Travel between locations as needed to provide day-to-day oversight and maintain physical resources for efficiency, cost effectiveness and safety.
  • Management duties include interviewing, selecting, training, planning and directing work, coaching and evaluating performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree is required in a related field.
  • Five (5) years ambulatory care experience relevant to assigned clinical practice, including two (2) years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Strong human resources and supervisory experience.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success in program implementation, operations, and fiscal management; attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare, organize and maintain accurate and detailed reports and files.
  • Excellent knowledge of information technology and its application to the health care environment; electronic medical records experience is strongly preferred.
  • Physician Relations or Mediation experience.
  • Some exposure to Billing/ Data Analysis.
