About the role
- Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for Inpatient Orders and Bugsy application(s)/module(s) of Epic.
- Collaborate with and provide tier-two support to their team and/or counterparts from other applications to successfully meet the development and implementation objectives for assigned Epic applications.
- Effectively manages competing and changing priorities.
- Under minimal supervision, serves as project lead for key initiatives, including performing project management duties, as assigned.
- Develops, documents, and adheres to the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with related applications and systems.
- Interacts professionally with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors.
Requirements
- Under minimal supervision can successfully execute multiple assignments simultaneously in a complex environment.
- Collaboratively works to implement the EpicCare Inpatient module(s) as well as Bugsy Infection Control module for the Multi-Specialty Research Hospital Settings.
- Critical and analytical thinking proficiencies.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and follow-up skills.
- Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting competencies.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree (4 years of comparable experience may be substituted for a degree).
- Experience minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience with clinical or business systems with exposure to software development/build lifecycles.
- As specified by the department director, Epic certification for assigned modules are required within eighteen (18) months of hire. Epic certification must be maintained per Epic Corporation standards.
- EpicCare Inpatient Orders and Bugsy Certification Preferred.

- Time Off - A generous leave program offers multiple paid leave options:
- - Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in year one based on date of hire.
- - Extended Illness Bank: 8 hours (1 day) accrued per month which can be used for illness or injury after one day of Paid Time Off is taken.
- - Paid Family Leave: Up to 240 hours (6 weeks) to care for a spouse, child, or parent after 6 months of consecutive employment.
- - Holidays: 12 set paid holidays each year.
