About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide patient-centered primary care to employees at assigned Marathon Health Centers through an Employer-Sponsored Direct Primary Care
- Spend as much time as you want with your patients
- Remove the distorted fee-for-service incentives – all care provided by providers is included in our monthly membership fee
- Facilitate an environment which provides providers with the opportunity to proactively work with patients to prevent diseases and injuries by making lifestyle changes prior to diagnosis
- Collaborate with at least two or more Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within the organization.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of residency with professional experience in 1) Family Practice or 2) Internal Medicine + Pediatric
- Board certification or eligibility and intent to certify required
- Active state license required
- DEA preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
- Per state regulations, may be required to have a dispensing license.
