About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Marathon Health's enterprise communication strategy, ensuring teammates are informed, engaged, and connected to the organization's mission, culture, and business priorities
Serve as a strategic communications advisor to executive leadership and a key member of the People Experience team
Drive organizational alignment, strengthen leadership communications, enable enterprise change, and enhance teammate experience through thoughtful communication strategies, data-driven insights, and AI-enabled innovation
Partner with leaders across the organization to ensure the right information reaches the right audiences at the right time
Oversee enterprise communication channels, including Town Halls, executive communications, the intranet, newsletters, Microsoft Teams, lock screens, and other digital communication platforms
Develop and execute communication strategies that foster engagement, transparency, inclusion, and connection to Marathon Health's mission and values
Manage the People Experience communications calendar to ensure timely, coordinated, and effective messaging across the organization
Develop communication dashboards and performance metrics to measure effectiveness, engagement, and business impact
Present communication insights, recommendations, and trends to executive leadership
Champion the use of AI and emerging technologies to improve communication quality, speed, personalization, accessibility, and operational efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Human Resources or a related field
10+ years of progressive experience in internal communications, executive communications, organizational communications, change management, or teammate experience
Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership and leading enterprise communication strategies
Proven success supporting organizational transformation, technology implementations, mergers, acquisitions, or other large-scale business initiatives
Exceptional communication, presentation, storytelling, and relationship-building skills with strong executive presence
Experience using communication metrics, analytics, and teammate insights to drive continuous improvement
Demonstrated expertise leveraging AI and emerging technologies to modernize communications, improve operational efficiency, personalize the teammate experience, and drive measurable business outcomes
Strong understanding of communication governance, responsible AI practices, digital communication platforms, and organizational change
