About the role

  • Serve as the senior relationship owner for one or more health plan partnerships
  • Champion the voice of the client internally
  • Build and maintain deep, trusted partnerships with health plan teams
  • Partner with the health plan teams to support competitive and strategic pursuits
  • Develop and execute a short- and long-term strategic partnership plan
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion
  • Proactively identify and assess risks across the partnership
  • Monitor partnership KPIs and collaborate to implement strategies
  • Partner with Operations, Clinical, and Marketing teams for alignment
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and healthcare economics to analyze data
  • Develop and execute partnership specific engagement plans in collaboration with our marketing team
  • Mentor and educate internal cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of progressive experience in health plan client management, sales, business development or client development or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior work within a health plan or with the health plan as your prospect/client
  • Strong understanding value-based care
  • Demonstrated expertise in client retention, growth strategies, and consultative account management
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to interpret margin analysis and performance metrics
  • Expert in Microsoft Office, specifically building your own models, and analyzing data, as well as building your own PowerPoint decks when needed
  • Willingness to travel up to 20-40% as needed
