About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on technical design discussions
- Design, develop, implement, and test complex software solutions using modern engineering practices.
- Create comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Participate in peer code reviews.
- Build technology solutions aligned with MAPFRE's IT strategy.

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field required.
- 3-7 years of hands-on experience developing software solutions using relevant programming languages.
- Experience working within Agile development environments and leveraging collaboration and productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucid, GitHub, and Microsoft Copilot.
- Guidewire experience preferred.
