About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the end-to-end revenue recognition process in compliance with ASC 606, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close activities, including revenue review, journal entries, accruals, variance analysis, and reconciliations, related to AR, revenue, and commissions
Design and implement scalable processes and systems for order-to-cash workflows, ensuring compliance between technical policies and operational processes without introducing unnecessary complexity
Partner with the Technical Revenue Team to review and interpret complex customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue treatment
Prepare audit-ready documentation and support external audits
Monitor internal controls related to revenue and improve where necessary
Coordinate with FP&A for revenue forecasting and variance analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS in Accounting or Finance
CPA License
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Prior experience with Netsuite, Stripe, and Salesforce preferred
5+ years of experience in revenue accounting, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple tasks at once
Strong time management and organizational skills
Demonstrates the ability and willingness to meet business-critical deadlines.
