About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the collection of information for risk reporting
- Review and analyze risk data to assess exposure
- Support creation and delivery of risk metrics and reports
- Support Risk Officer with tracking and analysis on mitigation activities
- Review and support operational risk event management
- Assist with oversight activities related to risk management framework
- Coordinate with other GWAM Risk teams on reporting and corporate risk programs
- Build strong relationships for efficient management reporting
- Contribute to Risk Management initiatives and projects
- Support the development of a strong risk culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in risk management or oversight functions
- Strong working knowledge of the wealth and asset management industry
- Familiarity with the current regulatory environment and risks facing financial institutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, logic, and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to collect, analyze, and present data from various sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to challenge conclusions and proposed actions
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, CoPilot)
- Experience using artificial intelligence tools
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset
