About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of cloud network engineers and operations specialists
- Define and execute the global cloud networking strategy across AWS and Azure
- Architect and guide implementation of cloud network designs, including VPC/VNet architecture, hybrid connectivity, segmentation, and secure connectivity patterns
- Be accountable for production operations of cloud networking services
- Lead major incident response for network-related issues, including root cause analysis (RCA)
- Establish and evolve the operational support model (L1/L2/L3)
- Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated experience leading cloud networking or network engineering teams in a large-scale, enterprise environment
- Deep expertise in AWS or Azure cloud networking, with working knowledge of the other
- Strong experience in production operations, including incident management, problem management, change management, and service monitoring
- Experience designing and implementing hybrid connectivity and secure network segmentation
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or similar tools) and network automation practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
