About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the creation and delivery of tools and reports that meet corporate risk, business, client, and regulatory needs
- Support the GWAM Risk Management Committee with reporting and action plan tracking
- Review and support the GWAM business Risk Officers for operational risk event management and corrective action plan tracking
- Consolidate and report incidents, issues, actions, and other risk programs
- Aggregate various metrics across the GWAM businesses
- Monitor and maintain key elements of the risk program
- Coordinate with other Manulife risk functions for reporting and analysis on corporate risk programs
- Build strong relationships with other risk team members
- Contribute to Risk Management initiatives and projects
- Handle ad-hoc requests or inquiries with responsiveness and attention to detail
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in risk management, finance, or audit
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to collect, analyze, and present data and information effectively
- Skilled at synthesizing complex information from various sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with an ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
- Collaborative team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset
