About the role

  • Support the development and maintenance of the global Operational Resilience Methodology
  • Provide oversight and effective challenge to the outputs of the first line of defense related to the Operational Resilience Program
  • Develop and deliver training and provide expert consultation
  • Support the standardization and automation strategy
  • Advise in the investigation of material loss events
  • Consolidate and report on Key Risk Indicators and supporting metrics
  • Help lead the behavioral and cultural embedding of Operational Resilience across Manulife

Requirements

  • 5 Years of experience directly in Operational Resilience or highly aligned risks such as Business Continuity
  • University Degree (Technology, Business, Risk Management, Auditing or related discipline)
  • Previous oversight and effective challenge (2nd line of defense) experience
  • Hands-on experience in supporting the development of risk management methodologies
  • Direct experience with the execution and/or maintenance of an Operational Resilience or related program in a large and complex multinational financial institution
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset.
