Manager, Operational Resilience

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development and maintenance of the global Operational Resilience Methodology
- Provide oversight and effective challenge to the outputs of the first line of defense related to the Operational Resilience Program
- Develop and deliver training and provide expert consultation
- Support the standardization and automation strategy
- Advise in the investigation of material loss events
- Consolidate and report on Key Risk Indicators and supporting metrics
- Help lead the behavioral and cultural embedding of Operational Resilience across Manulife
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5 Years of experience directly in Operational Resilience or highly aligned risks such as Business Continuity
- University Degree (Technology, Business, Risk Management, Auditing or related discipline)
- Previous oversight and effective challenge (2nd line of defense) experience
- Hands-on experience in supporting the development of risk management methodologies
- Direct experience with the execution and/or maintenance of an Operational Resilience or related program in a large and complex multinational financial institution
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset.
