About the role

  • Support the research and investigations on given projects
  • Produce analysis, develop solutions, present recommendations, and support implementation
  • Drive key projects in developing strong capabilities to understand and explain earnings under IFRS17
  • Support valuation solutions to streamline the reporting process
  • Support development of tools and methods that streamline processes and reduce manual work
  • Build thought leadership, provide training, and create training material
  • Work closely with line actuaries and collaborate with other professionals

Requirements

  • FSA/FCIA qualification
  • Proactive, self-directed, and able to work independently
  • Detail oriented, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a wide audience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from various areas
  • Knowledge of IFRS17 actuarial principles (preferred)
  • Prior financial reporting experience and/or familiarity with US products (preferred)
