About the role
- Support the research and investigations on given projects
- Produce analysis, develop solutions, present recommendations, and support implementation
- Drive key projects in developing strong capabilities to understand and explain earnings under IFRS17
- Support valuation solutions to streamline the reporting process
- Support development of tools and methods that streamline processes and reduce manual work
- Build thought leadership, provide training, and create training material
- Work closely with line actuaries and collaborate with other professionals
Requirements
- FSA/FCIA qualification
- Proactive, self-directed, and able to work independently
- Detail oriented, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a wide audience
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from various areas
- Knowledge of IFRS17 actuarial principles (preferred)
- Prior financial reporting experience and/or familiarity with US products (preferred)
