About the role
- Evaluate investments through detailed analyses
- Manage valuation and financial modeling components
- Develop and maintain DCF models for traditional farmland and food company investments
- Collaborate with subject matter experts for due diligence and research
- Produce investment committee memorandums
- Present valuation outputs to investment committees
- Develop DCF models for existing investments
- Collaborate with portfolio managers for valuation monitoring
- Contribute to appraisal processes for existing investments
- Develop working relationships across business units
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Strong attention to detail
- Extensive Microsoft Excel skills
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis
- General knowledge of investment management and alternative asset classes
- Interest in agriculture / real assets
- Effective team player
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and professional
- Ability to present analyses clearly
- Project management skills
- Willingness to progress towards CFA charter
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time
