About the role

  • Build, code, test, and maintain high-quality software
  • Participate in Agile sprints and ceremonies; support rapid iteration and development
  • Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs
  • Develop and maintain data mappings, transformations, and workflows
  • Optimize and tune ETL processes for efficiency and performance
  • Manage and maintain database systems, ensuring data integrity and security
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL processes
  • Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive records of development activities
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and quality standards are met

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience with IT experience
  • Proven experience of over 5 years as an Informatica Developer, with expertise in Informatica PowerCenter 10.5 and up
  • Strong understanding of database systems, preferably with experience in DBMS such as DB2
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Perl
  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration concepts
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science (preferred)
