Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist customers with inquiries, issues, and complaints across multiple channels
  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver easier, better, and faster service
  • Offer solutions based on provided Knowledge articles and prescribed service and operating standards
  • Process transactions, coordinate with other departments, and document significant discussions or complaints
  • Complete ongoing training on products, industry, services, and policy changes

  • Identify customer issue trends and patterns and escalate them to appropriate support teams
  • Navigate multiple channels while maintaining good customer experience

  • Complete and timely update call logs
  • Ensure transaction documentation is complete and sent for imaging on time
  • Participate in and support department/company initiatives to improve staff engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Should have completed at least 2 years tertiary education
  • 2-year contact center experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Good understanding of work routines, procedures, platforms, and/or systems
  • Ability to understand and act on problem statements
  • Ability to comprehend, capture, and interpret basic customer information
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to research required participant information using available tools and resources
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with other departments
  • Minimum keyboarding speed of 35 words per minute
  • Internal applicants must have at least one year of tenure in their current position
  • Internal applicants should have no attendance issues or disciplinary action during the past 12 months
  • Internal applicants must have at least an “Effective” rating on the recent performance review
