About the role
- Lead the monthly/quarterly preparation of financial statements
- CFO and Board of Directors reporting packages
- Disclosures for US and Canadian subsidiaries
- Oversight of financial statement preparation and coordination of annual external audits
- Revenue and billing for Private Markets
- Prepare/Review journal entries and oversee invoice process
- Review and prepare journal entries from Partner Capital Account Statements
- Review/approve wire requests for routine and non-routine intercompany payments
- Assist with carried interest dashboard and accruals
- Prepare memos for accounting policy changes and dividend projections
Requirements
- University Business Degree and working towards a CPA designation
- General understanding of IFRS and US GAAP
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial services and/or consulting firm
- Experience in public and private investment management industry reporting
- Experience with financial reporting tools (Infor/Lawson, Oracle Smart View) a strong plus
- Proactive and effective at meeting deadlines, multitasking, and adapting to changes
- Advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
