About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with the Senior Manager, FP&A, to lead end-to-end financial planning and forecasting process across global sales channels (DTC, Marketplaces, and Retail) including annual budgeting, quarterly forecast processes, and long-range planning
- Lead monthly performance reporting, delivering key insights on budget, variance, and near-term outlook for the sales channels
- Develop and maintain models to connect marketing and revenue performance to overall company goals
- Manage detailed, SKU-level forecasting across the business, including base unit forecasts, pricing, promotional opportunities, and other gross-to-net assumptions
- Partner with Retail leadership to review opportunities for financial feasibility, providing feedback and support where necessary
- Support month close by identifying forecast assumptions and reconciling those to actual results and accounting estimates
- Continuously improve and automate owned processes to increase effectiveness and minimize time to insights
- Serve as a trusted and effective finance partner to commercial leadership, translating complex considerations into actionable plans
- Support ad hoc analyses and scenario planning
- Work with functional partners across the Finance and Accounting organization to improve fundamental business processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years in Finance with experience building budgets, forecasts, variance analyses
- Strong modeling and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting and GAAP concepts, especially with respect to consumer goods and services revenue recognition
- Accounting, Finance, or adjacent degree; CFA, CPA, CMA designation is a plus
- Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint proficiency; experience with financial reporting and planning systems (ideally, NetSuite)
- Financial reporting and/or planning systems experience
- Strong communication skills with ability to synthesize complex data into concise, big-picture narratives for senior stakeholders
- Professional presence and strong interpersonal instincts across all levels of an organization.
