Lead end-to-end program management for product lifecycle device development, including hardware design, engineering, testing, packaging, and delivery
Own and evolve the stage gate process across device programs, ensuring clear checkpoints, risk mitigation, and cross-functional alignment
Build long-lead program plans that enable ideation, leverage cross-functional efficiencies, and integrate learnings from past initiatives into new programs
Facilitate project activities (kickoffs, status reviews, retrospectives) while proactively surfacing and resolving risks, blockers, and dependencies to maintain momentum and ensure ownership toward key business and program goals
Champion continuous process improvement by optimizing documentation, workflows, and programs while enhancing team collaboration and driving efficiencies across internal and external partners
Streamline workflows by scaling effort to business value, eliminating redundant documentation, and reducing unnecessary touchpoints
Promote cross-functional accountability by aligning expectations and helping teams stay focused on strategic priorities without excessive oversight
Partner closely with Packaging, Product Development, Creative, and Go-to-Market teams to ensure on-time delivery of product development and packaging assets across all device and kit related programs
Track and align timelines across multiple, interdependent workflows
Proactively monitor progress, identify risks, and drive timely resolution
Manage packaging development and execution for devices and bundled kits, balancing brand aesthetics, functionality, quality, and cost
Track and manage marketing insert components included in product packaging, ensuring alignment with Category Management, Creative, and Production Development requirements
Support planning and execution of device kits and cross-product bundles, managing dependencies across components and packaging
Oversee 3PL partner readiness by ensuring timely SKU setup within fulfillment systems to support product availability and launch execution
Coordinate with Operations to track actual demand (AD) and shipment transit times (STTs) across 3PLs, ensuring visibility into CX and Influencer sample availability for product launches
Manage launch readiness for products in back-order status, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams for fulfillment, inventory, and customer experience teams
Partner with Regulatory to manage international documentation, product registrations, and ensure timely visibility of key deliverables and deadlines
Perform additional duties as required to support successful program execution and global initiatives as needed
Requirements
5+ years of program or project management experience, with at least 2+ years in consumer hardware, devices, or manufacturing product development
Direct experience managing both product and packaging development for physical goods (device and/or kit experience strongly preferred)
Proven ability to manage hardware development timelines and deliverables, including packaging, prototyping, tooling, engineering builds, and regulatory milestones
Track record of successfully leading cross-functional hardware or product initiatives from concept through launch
Strong understanding of regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements, especially for hardware and international markets
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, managing multiple complex initiatives and changing priorities
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences and foster collaboration across departments—technical, creative, and executive
Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and ownership, but also a strong team collaborator
Familiarity with project management tools like Asana or similar; ability to quickly adapt to new platforms
Process-oriented with a mindset for continuous improvement
Packaging, design, or industrial engineering experience is a strong advantage
International experience and a global perspective are a plus!
