About the role

  • Perform planning, costing, control and monitoring tasks and prepare profitability calculations for various production areas
  • Support costing for customer and pre-development projects from the initial inquiry through EOP, respond to price requests on time and prepare target price calculations; actively participate in ratio projects (value analyses, etc.)
  • Perform standard cost calculations for new products within development and customer projects using the FACTON software
  • Collaborate across sites, coordinate, lead and implement controlling topics and projects
  • Propose, evaluate, prioritize, track and follow up on measures to improve results, and conduct variance analyses and review meetings with profit center managers
  • Prepare, execute and align operational cost center planning
  • Generate reports (e.g., cost comparisons, cost developments, etc.) and support the monthly closing and presentation of results
  • Create product costings for series products in the ERP system SAP S/4HANA

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance/Controlling or Industrial Engineering
  • Initial professional experience in (production) controlling
  • Good knowledge of finance and controlling topics
  • Solid understanding of technical processes and in-depth product knowledge
  • SAP S/4HANA knowledge in the CO, PP and MM modules as well as Excel and BW
  • Experience with the FACTON costing tool
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills and process orientation
  • High degree of initiative, resilience and reliability
  • Excellent team skills and intercultural competence
