About the role
- Plan, manage and coordinate one or more projects within the Aftermarket Americas business unit
- Coordinate all related activities within the Production department to ensure the producibility of the products and optimization of the product cost
- Develop the product assurance plans (PCF), project stages and deadlines as well as the product Quality Gates
- Coordinate the relevant engineering activities within the development, design and application departments in the Aftermarket Americas business unit
- Lead and coordinate a multi-disciplinary project team, assign tasks to the team members, arrange regular team meetings and individual communication
- Ensure compliance with the technical standards, development process xSEP and further norms of M+H Group during the project to guarantee the product quality
- Review the project status on a regular basis, initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations as regard Quality Gates
- Initiate and perform the risk analyses regarding profitability, timing, technical and environmental requirements
- Participate in/support the development of new project management tools, functions, and process for global implementation
- Arrange, participate in and conduct the kickoff meetings with the customers and the project teams to ensure that the project plan, resources and activities meet the customer requirements and expectations
- Provide all technical documentation on the projects to the customers (technical descriptions and presentations, technical specifications, FMEA, design verification plans, etc.)
- Maintain the master data in C Projects to ensure that all information as regards the tools, costs, prices, project deadlines, etc. is available and up to date
- Plan, implement and control the cost budget in the area of responsibility as well as the internal/external resources for the project
- Monitor and report on project KPIs including timelines, cost targets, and revenue impact
- Participate in the meetings with the AA steering committee to report the project status, Quality Gates result, etc. and to ensure compliance with the project budget and the time plan, support the decision-making process of the Aftermarket Americas steering committee in regard to the assigned projects and provide escalation support activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering
- 3 years' minimum relevant work experience in the field of Cost Reduction Projects, Revenue Impact and Cost Optimization, and Project Management with interdisciplinary teams
- Intermediate/Advanced level with Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Competence in quality systems
- Knowledgeable in product development processes and/or manufacturing process
- Knowledgeable with Automation, Vision and multi-step project implementation
- Possess detailed product know-how, system understanding (engine, flow, materials)
- Ability to travel weekly up to 30% (Local/Regional)
