About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide face-to-face customer service related to Manitoba Public Insurance products, services and policies
- Issue, renew and/or update driver’s licences
- Perform Canada wide searches on the Driver Licence System (zScope)
- Issue driving in force letters, conditional licences, permits, and/or suspension notices
- Communicate to customers regarding driver’s licence suspensions
- Create testing appointment services
- Schedule test appointments and collect payment
- Verify customer identity and conduct vision tests
- Administer electronic and oral knowledge tests
- Provide assistance in motorcycle testing
- Sell Vehicle Safety supplies
- Administer salesperson and dealer tests
- Register and schedule customers for Driver Z classes
- Reschedule estimate and adjuster appointments
- Print and witness Total Loss documents
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of customer service and administrative office experience
- Experience working with MPI products and services is an asset
- Intermediate 2 oral French Language skills are required
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s licence
- Visual acuity must be correctable to 20/20 with lenses and be free of colour blindness for employees who perform additional enhanced identity interview duties
