About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead personalized legal strategies for each client
- Review application packets, declarations, and motions for family-based petitions, consular processing, T-Visas, SIJS, VAWA, and waivers
- Grade and provide constructive feedback to paralegals and legal assistants
- Conduct initial reviews to identify legal issues
- Represent clients in Adjustment of Status interviews before USCIS
- Serve as "Attorney of the Day" and provide legal guidance to the team
- Attend operational meetings
- Participate in Consultation Day Events
- Handle a full caseload and meet directly with clients
- Collaborate with paralegals, support staff, and community partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active U.S. Bar license required
- 2+ years of attorney experience reviewing complex immigration cases, including T-Visa, VAWA, U-Visa, and SIJS
- Native or fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and Immigration Case Management Systems (Camplegal)
- Growth-oriented "can-do" attitude
- Focus on continuous improvement and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work 45 to 50 hours per week
