About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead personalized legal strategies for each client
Review application packets, declarations, and motions for family-based petitions, consular processing, T-Visas, SIJS, VAWA, and waivers
Grade and provide constructive feedback to paralegals and legal assistants
Conduct initial reviews to identify legal issues
Represent clients in Adjustment of Status interviews before USCIS
Serve as "Attorney of the Day" and provide legal guidance to the team
Attend operational meetings
Participate in Consultation Day Events
Handle a full caseload and meet directly with clients
Collaborate with paralegals, support staff, and community partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active U.S. Bar license required
2+ years of attorney experience reviewing complex immigration cases, including T-Visa, VAWA, U-Visa, and SIJS
Native or fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Slack, and Immigration Case Management Systems (Camplegal)
Growth-oriented "can-do" attitude
Focus on continuous improvement and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work 45 to 50 hours per week
