Controller

• Lead all daily accounting activities, including general ledger oversight, accounts payable and receivable, payroll compliance, fixed assets, and cash management.
• Oversee and execute the monthly close, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage annual audits and tax filings, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Oversee grant and fund accounting, ensuring compliance with restrictions and preparing required reports.
• Analyze and reconcile revenue, deferred revenue, and receivables; distribute revenue reports and support internal inquiries.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
• Support treasury functions, investment tracking, and banking relationships alongside the CFO.
• Lead key operational improvement initiatives, including enhancements to the accounting system, expense, travel, and payables platforms.
• Manage, coach, and develop the Finance team to ensure high performance and accountability.
• Support special projects and strategic financial analysis as needed.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
