About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own outbound prospecting for net-new logos within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB)
- Book high-quality discovery meetings using phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person events
- Position and articulate CMMC preparation, managed services, secure enclaves, and C3PAO assessments
- Qualify opportunities using defined BANT criteria
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline tracking in HubSpot
- Develop and maintain expertise in CMMC requirements and the Department of Defense cybersecurity ecosystem
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- 2–5 years of professional experience in B2B sales development, business development, or outbound sales
- Demonstrated experience conducting outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social platforms
- Proven ability to qualify sales opportunities using a structured qualification methodology (e.g., BANT)
- Experience using a CRM system to document activities, manage leads, and track pipeline (HubSpot preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet performance targets, and work effectively in a remote environment
- Ability to travel up to two times per month as required
